Jack has over 15 years of experience in the acting industry. He started in youth theatre, performing in many shows such as A Midsummer Night's Dream, Peer Gynt and The Pirates of Penzanze. During this time he won awards for Best Actor of the year, Best Writing, Best Director and Best Devised Performance.
At age 15 Jack delved into stand-up comedy and performed his own sets to crowds of over 2000 people.
Jack then graduated with a BA Hons in Acting. During his time, he was awarded Best Actor, Best Director and Best Actor in a Comedy Show. While studying, he also spent two years as a radio presenter for the local station.
In his final year he played roles such as Gus in The Dumb Waiter and Clive in Cloud 9. He then directed Martin McDonaghs play The Pillowman. He also co-wrote, directed and performed a comedy sketch show to a large scale audience . On the back of one of his performances, he was invited by a talent scout to perform at the Canterbury Fringe Festival.
Jack then signed with a well-known agency in London and appeared in Theatre, TV, immersive shows and commercials. Simultaneously he worked at the London Dungeon as one of the directors.
He later went on to become the Stage Manager for a top London immersive theatre show.
Jack has taken numerous courses and workshops in TV, Film, Improvisation, Stage Combat and Audition prep and has been lucky enough to work and learn with the likes of Mischief Theatre, The National Theatre, ITV, BBC, Netflix, The MET Film School, and various renowned casting directors and actors.
Jack has created and presented over thirty workshops for children of all ages to create new ways for children to play, perform and become immersed.
Lucy Duffy
Lucy trained in Professional Musical Theatre at the prestigious Italia Conti Academy in London.
During her time she was awarded the Singing award and the Acting award, as well as the Top of the year award.
Lucy was also Dance Captain for in-house workshops, Pretty Woman and Come From Away.
Whilst training, Lucy had the opportunity to learn from some of the West End's leading actors and creatives such as, Fra Fee, Rob Madge, Carrie-Anne Ingrouille, Niamh Perry, Norma Atallah and Lucas Rush.
During her time in London, Lucy performed in the ensemble of 'Urinetown' and played the leading role of Carrie White in 'Carrie The Musical'.
Lucy then went on to work for Disney Theatrical in London's West End.
Prior to opening Playhouse Theatre Company, Lucy directed and choreographed several productions including Oliver, Hairspray, We Will Rock You, The Wizard of Oz and There's No Business Like Show Business.
She also produced various shows and concerts for Kinross' Winter Music Festival and raised over £8000 for charity.
Most recently, she choreographed Charlie and the Chocolate Factory the musical and the Playhouse Summer School show.
Lucy also has extensive stage experience, having played roles such as The Lady of the Lake in Spamalot, Christine Daae in The Phantom of The Opera, Millie in Thoroughly Modern Millie, Little Sally in Urinetown and Blanche in Bonnie & Clyde.
Lucy is delighted to be pursuing her creative passion through Playhouse and loves working with people of all ages on exciting theatre projects.

In 2023, Guy graduated from Leeds Conservatoire with a degree in Jazz Music. During his 3 years at the conservatoire, he trained in a variety of skills, including musical direction, conducting, vocal technique and care, piano skills as well as other musicianship techniques.
He became involved in Musical Theatre in 2013, taking part first in youth productions, before moving into amateur dramatics.
Guy also has been involved in productions as a Musical Director, working for In Sync Theatre Company and Youth Music Theatre Scotland to direct productions of Oliver, Hairspray and Seussical the Musical before going to university.
Guy has played in pit bands for a number of shows, playing Drums, Percussion, Bass Guitar, Guitar and Keyboard in different productions over the last 10 years.
He also was a director, musical director and show organiser for a revue in his final year of secondary school, raising money for the schools performing arts budget.
Guy spent 2 years prior to the COVID-19 Pandemic working part time as a private music tutor, teaching a variety of instruments to people of varying ages.
Since leaving University, Guy has continued to be involved in the musical theatre scene, playing in the pit band for shows with MGA and Falkirk Youth Theatre, as well as performing with The Bohemian Lyrics Opera Company in their performance of Sunshine on Leith.
Guy also has a breadth of stage experience, having played roles including Seymour in Little Shop of Horrors and Rusty in Starlight Express.
